

Deborah Ann Jones was born on October 26, 1956, in Hampton, Virginia, to Daniel Willis Jones Sr. and Celestine Bailey, both of whom preceded her in death. As a youth, Deborah left Virginia and moved to Wildwood, New Jersey, where she joined her father and grandfather. She later raised her children in Atlantic City and Wildwood, New Jersey, before returning home to Virginia, where she resided in Fredericksburg for the past sixteen years.
On January 23, 2026, Deborah peacefully transitioned, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
Deborah was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her warmth, resilience, and the deep love she had for her children and grandchildren. Family meant everything to Deborah, and she poured her heart into caring for those she loved.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters:
Daniela Jones, Paula Lee, and Wanda Jones.
Deborah leaves behind her beloved grandchildren—who were her joy, her purpose, and the center of her world—whom she raised with deep love, unwavering care, and heartfelt dedication: Anthony Brown, Shawn Brown, Christopher Fitzpatrick, Jr., Derek Jones, Ashley Fluellen-Jones, Robert Matthews, Jr., Keosha Fitzpatrick, and Auloni Matthews.
She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Gisele, Kirin, Brooklyn, Londyn, and Bryson, each of whom brought immeasurable joy and light into her life.
Deborah’s life touched many, and her memory will live on through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the family she cherished so deeply.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings Chrystine Jones, Eugene Jones, Chico Rosario, Mark Jones, and Darnell Jones.
A celebration of life service will be announced by the family.
