Donald Robert “Donnie” Abrahamson, 61, of Stafford County died on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, at Stafford Hospital. Donnie was born Nov. 25, 1953, in Washington, D.C., and was a retired postal worker. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge. He is survived by his sons, Donald R. and Duane R. Abrahamson of Stafford; stepson Jason L. Moran of Alabama; grandchildren Darren and Ayden Abrahamson and Ryan and Emily Moran; and his brother, Dr. Dale R. Abrahamson (Susie) of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Sherman and Katherine Abrahamson.
A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Dec. 11, at Mullins and Thompson, Stafford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s National Medical Center.
