Dorothy Mildred Crawford

Dorothy (“Dottie”) Mildred Crawford, 66, of Fredericksburg, passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born on July 25, 1955, in Fauquier, to Alice Kathryn Jenkins and the late Carroll Steven Jenkins. Dottie is survived by her son, Ronnie Cropp and his wife, Evelyn Cropp; mother, Alice Jenkins and her partner, George Tyson; sister, Joan Curtis; and three grandchildren Garrett Cropp, Kendall Cropp, and Peyton Cropp. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Sonny Jenkins and Robert Jenkins. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel from 6-8:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the funeral home, at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow at Remington Cemetery, 11910 Cemetery Road, Remington, VA 22734. The pallbearers will be Kevin Stone, Jamie Cramer, Keith Morris, Ryan Musselman, Garrett Cropp and Ronald Cropp. A special thank you needs to go to her daughter-in-law, Evelyn Cropp for the all the care she showed and gave her mother-in-law over the last months, when Dottie needed it most.
