
Dorothy “Dotty” Maxine Rosinski , 67, beloved sister, aunt, and avid dog lover, died peacefully on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Taylor Annandale, and father, Paul Joseph Rosinski.
Born on December 14, 1943, she was a long-time resident of Baltimore. She retired from the state of Maryland Department of Social Services after a career of more than 25 years caring for families in need.
Dotty is survived by her sister, Juanita Yanchulis and her husband, Phil, of Fredericksburg, Va., and their children: nephew Phil, his wife, Julie, and children of Herndon, Va.; nephew Mick, his wife, Colleen, and children of Arnold, Md.; nephew Jon, his wife, Mary, and children of King George, Va.; and nephew Chuck, his wife, Lisa, and children of St. Inigoes, Md.
Also surviving is Dotty’s brother, Paul Rosinski and his wife, Patricia, of Wicomico Church, Va., and their children: niece Theresa Johnson, her husband, Tim, and children of Leonardtown, Md.; nephew Rick and his daughter of Mechanicsville, Md.; and niece Pamela Davis, her husband, PJ, and children of Mechanicsville, Md.
A memorial service will be held at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg on Saturday, January 15 at 1 p.m. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
