

Mr. Garrison was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a Technician 4th Grade in the 94th Replacement Battalion of the 9th Replacement Depot, serving in Fountainebleau, France, until V-E Day in 1945. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Mr. Garrison went on to complete his B.A.in Business Administration at Valparaiso University in 1949. After college, Mr. Garrison began his long career at Nabisco in Chicago, IL, eventually moving the family to multiple cities in the USA, Caracas, Venezuela (twice) and Leicester, England. While living in New Jersey he traveled extensively for his job going to Europe, South Africa, South and Central America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia and New Zealand. He eventually retired in New Jersey in 1983.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorothy Lorraine Garrison; four daughters, Deborah Jane (John) Vnenchak, Bethany Ann Cunningham, Karen Garrison Calvo and Marcia Garrison (Dan) Hester; a brother, Larry Dean (Rita) Garrison; seven grandchildren, David John (Kimberly) Vnenchak, Susan Marie Vnenchak, Katherine Ann Vnenchak, Casey Cunningham (Matthew) Burke, Jamey Lynn Cunningham, Crisann Calvo (Sam) Walls, and Michael David Calvo; and three great-grandchildren, Sophia Skye Vnenchak, Wesley David Vnenchak and Gregory Joseph Burke.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Quantico National Cemetery.
