Floyd has lived over 30 years in the Stafford area and was a member of the Rappahannock Chapter of the National Railroad Historical Society where he loved taking the young and old for a ride on the yellow train on Saturday mornings.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; two daughters, Ann M. Swiggett and Debbie L. Beales; sister, Mary Meyers; brother, Robert A. Swiggett and two grandchildren, Aaron V. Swiggett and Tyler J. Beales.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg at 4:00 pm. Interment will be private.
