Gustavo Colom

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Loretta Angela Colom Dozier; children Gustavo Colom (Tina), Loretta M. Colom, Angela Schneider (Stephen), Gabriella Reitan (Scott); sister Mary de la Cerda; and grandchildren Alec, Ben and Ethan Schneider and Anthony and Michael Reitan. He was predeceased by his brothers, Antonio, Jose, Guillermo and Manuel Colom, and sisters Teresa Hodaneck and Lulu Herrarte.

He was a retired attorney from Guatemala. He was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, fredericksburg, and an active member of the Falls Run community.

The family will recieve friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
