He was born on December 24, 1965, in Fredericksburg, VA. He is preceded in death by his Father, Harry R. Sullivan Sr. (Randy), his Mother, Elizabeth Annette McNeil Sullivan (Dockie). He is survived by his daughters, Brandy Koch, and Ashley Sullivan; sister, Teresa Fein; brother, Conley Wayne Sullivan; 8 Grandchildren; 8 nieces and nephews; wife, Mary Sullivan and his loving dog, Dixie.
Macky was an avid outdoorsman. His greatest passion was spending time in and around the woods, rivers and lakes in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford counties. He especially loved fishing and camping on the Rappahannock River. He also loved metal detecting. He loved and raised German Shepherds but had a special connection with his little dog Dixie, who was his constant companion. He also identified with those in the homeless community and made every effort to help those that he felt were in greater need than himself. He was well known to his community, and he liked everyone and appreciated how much they looked after him and Dixie.
Macky attended King George High School in King George, VA. After school, he worked in the construction trade and was an excellent roofer, working for his father, Randy, and working with his brother, Conley, for Sullivan’s Roofing. They worked together in the family business for many years.
A family memorial cook out will be held in Macky’s honor at a later date yet to be determined. He was loved by all of us, and he will be greatly missed. We know he is with the Lord now who he loved and believed in.
