James W. Leacock, Sr., 85, of Fredericksburg passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Thursday, January 10, 2013. He was a US Army Merchant Marines veteran and a member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled Veterans Group, and a former member of the Elks Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, James Leacock II of Wisconsin and Jeremy Leacock of Illinois; three daughters Wanda Sue Brooks of Spotsylvania, Sara Cisneros of Texas, and Laurin Bellg of Wisconsin; brother, Robert Leacock of Fredericksburg; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and an adopted brother, Earl Green of Spotsylvania.
A graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
