She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bladen Bryant; daughter, Martha Browning Bryant and brother, James Elwood Garrett.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia L. Bryant and Ann Bryant Rudacille (Glenn); niece, Brenda Garrett Grooters (Wayne); 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and devoted caregivers, Audrey Gerald and Debbra Ford.
Mrs. Bryant worked as a medical receptionist for 35 years for John B. Rose, Jr. M.D. in the Medical Arts building.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
