Kathleen Boone Van Hoy, 76 of King George went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 7, 2012. She was part owner of Van’s Construction. A member of Fairview Baptist Church, where she was a sunday school teacher and spiritual motivator. She was a member of Gold’s Gym where she enjoyed working out.
She is survived by her husband, D.W. “Van”; two sons, John Van Hoy of Fredericksburg and Billy Van Hoy and wife, Tami of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Donna Lewis and husband, Livingston of Mount Vernon, OH and Helen Boone of Ashville, NC; brother, Bill Boone of Lexington; three grandchildren, Tori, Kyle, and Shane; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clayton Boone.
The family will receive friends at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 6-8:00 PM. A service will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, with Lynn Fees officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
