

Kay was born on January 19, 1940 in Louisiana. She was destined to journey through her Life with such incredible Zest and Drive. Kay had many accomplishments in her life. From being the Mother of two children to being an Administrative Officer at Nuclear Effects Laboratory, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Kay was also an incredibly devoted wife to her husband of over 50 years. She took care of her husband until he succumbed to Parkinson’s disease in 2017.
She loved to travel, read, crochet, and of course shop! Her favorite movies were anything Star Trek. Kay also had the most beautiful singing voice. She was beautiful inside and out.
Kay loved talking about her Work, Adventures, Family and the many incredible QVC Easy Pay Deals. Dazzling with a fierce sense of Loyalty. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, always thinking of others first. If there was something to be done, she did it without hesitation. With a full face of Makeup and the Confidence to fit, Kay’s presence was undeniably profound. She was Kind, Caring, Nurturing and Strong.
Kay was Roman Catholic and prayed to Mary every evening. She prayed for all those she loved and many she had met in passing. Her Love had no bounds, no judgements, she simply believed in living a happy life.

Remaining to Cherish her Loving Memory is her Cat Cindy, Daughter and Son in Law, Ann-Marie & Phillip Andrews. Son and Daughter in Law, Raymond “Michael” & Shelly Haywood. Grand-daughter and Great-Grandchildren, Audra Lockard & Ma’Eve, Eli & Jax. Stepdaughters, Yvonne Clina, Jeanette Haywood Finnell & Jesika Houck, Maureen Cooper, and Joanne Aguilar. Brother and Sister in Law, Jerry & Debbie Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Charles Haywood, Father, and Mother.
Kay will be cremated and shared back to the Earth by her Daughter, Son, and Granddaughter. A private Spiritual gathering will be held at her Daughter’s residence as well as a Private Family Memorial to be held this May 2025.
