Luis was a security contractor loved by many because of his lovable and humorous personality. He was a man that loved making people laugh, was always the life of any party or gathering, and had jokes for days. He was passionate, caring, loving, funny, hard-working, and genuine.
In his spare time, Luis enjoyed shooting at the shooting range, watching cop shows with his dad, listening to House music, and spending time with friends.
In addition to his parents, Luis is survived by a sister, Maria Rodriguez (Michael); his wife, Shorty Meléndez; his 4 daughters, Lucia Shropshire (David), Lisette Meléndez, Ashley Mendoza (John), and Lourdes Meléndez; and 7 grandchildren Ayami, Hiro, Kenji, Gianna, Hamza, Adam, and Emiko.
A celebration of life for Luis will be held Friday, March 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Emancipation Hwy, Fredericksburg, Virginia 22401.
Luis will be laid to rest in Private.
