He was born on February 20, 1964 in Frederick, Maryland the son of the late Herschel Lee Elder and Ruth (Schultz) Pochron. He worked in office administration for the Savvy Sealers in Fredericksburg.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina Elder.
Survivors include his companion of 15 years, Deborah E. Hill of Fredericksburg, VA; his son, Mark A. Elder and his wife Lisa of Fredericksburg, VA; two grandchildren, Alivia and Ally Elder; two brothers, Alan Elder and David Elder.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg where a funeral service will be held at 2:00pm with Rev. John Hodgen officiating.
