He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Gardner and husband, Russell and, one niece and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy J. Elliott, Sr. and Sallie B. Elliott and a brother, LeRoy J. Elliott, Jr.
A funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2017 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg at 11:00 a.m., with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
