It's been a while, huh? I hope you liked the flowers I left? They were purple! I still think about you a lot. You definitely aren't one someone can forget about. Even now, I'm crying. I still cry a lot... I'm sure you probably don't want me to. I miss you. I miss you so much.. I got married, did you know? And I'll finally be getting my first tattoo soon! Almost 20 years old now, and I still don't have a tattoo.... The first one is gonna be for you. I miss you... I miss you more than words will ever be able to describe. My chest aches so much every time I think of you. Remember the day by the river? We sat there and just watched the water go by. Remember me slipping and falling onto my butt like a dummy? We laughed so hard that day. That was one of the best days of my life.. I miss you... I love you. I never got to tell you, I still love you. I could never have hated you.. Why didn't you let me know just how much you were hurting? You were so strong.. I wish I'd known. I wish I could've said goodbye before you left us.

Hi. I was Lee's first grade teacher at Ladysmith Primary School in Caroline County. I am so heartbroken to hear of Lee's passing and a bit angry. I also ask why. Why, why, why? I hate cancer. With the gifts of creativity, charisma, and compassion, you made life less stressful and more joyful for lots of people.  I hope that your life can be a reminder to all that one person CAN make a difference.  You will be remembered for many things, but mostly for your warm, kind and loving spirit you shared with so many - it will live on.  I know you now have those magnificent angel wings you wanted and have found your peaceful Wonderland.  Save a place for us.

It's funny how sometimes we want to be safe and we're never will be. Unless we find some sort of paradise in which we will never be harmed . "
I know he is in his "Wonderland" away from any pain.

I love you bubby, you are my best friend & I hope you got those angel wings you always hoped for, you were an amazing man. Smiling & laughing , always making sure the family stayed as happy as possible. You mean so much to me & there isn't anything I wouldn't do for you .

Pleasant I still laugh every time I eat a ritz cracker I see you running around yelling Cookie Cookie Aunt Jamie  as everyone looked at me like I was crazy over you wanting a cookie at eight in the morning and us smiling and laughing when I gave you the cracker and you going yum yum cookie. You are and will always be in my heart. I love you sweetheart and send up butterfly kisses and hugs with the ladybugs.
