Christie was the owner of a home-based business for 30 years and was an active member of both the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fredericksburg and the Unity Church of Fredericksburg. Christie will forever be remembered as a beautiful, radiant soul, an artist, a visionary and a loyal, passionate friend. She will be remembered for many wonderful things, most of all, a loving mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family, whom she loved endlessly. She never ceased to place the happiness and well-being of those closest to her above her own. Her love, selflessness and grace knew no bounds. Christie was loved and cherished by so many and will be deeply, deeply missed.
Christie’s memory lives on through her eldest daughter Elyse Hauke and her husband Gary, her son Chance Pennington and his two children Alayna and Cash, as well as her youngest daughter Molly Turner, her husband Brandon Turner and their two children, Beau and Belle.
Her light shines on.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg on Saturday the 26th at 2:00 P.M.
Lieu of Flowers can be donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and/or Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg.
