

Robert Lee Branch Jr., of the late Robert L. Branch Sr. and Clara M. Branch was born June 14, 1946, in Emporia Virginia. On May 20, 2021, at his home in Stafford Virginia surrounded by his loved ones he answered God’s call to return home.
Robert attended Greenville County Public Schools in Emporia Virginia. At an early, he left home and traveled to Stafford Virginia. Robert was employed with JF, Jennings, as a construction laborer for many years until his health declined. Robert was well known in Stafford for his warm personality, and his laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his special Queens (Victoria, Talia, Naomi, and Nahla. They put all their love and care into providing for him during his illness. He continued listening to Roy C music, and drinking his favorite beverages until his call home.
In addition to his parents, preceding him in death, his sisters Maxine Bullock, Bertine Lundy, Barbara Smith, and three brothers Johnnie Bullock, Danny L. Branch Sr., and Melvin Branch, and two grandsons Khalil Evans and Kai White all were called to Glory.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory a long-term special friend, Elizabeth Holmes; two children, one son Darrell Parker of Stafford, Virginia, and daughter Sharmaine Randle (Ezra) of Spotsylvania Virginia. Ten grandchildren, Vanessa Moore of Woodbridge Virginia, Tionna Quinn and Lakesha Quinn of Triangle Virginia, Victoria Evans (Joseph) of Stafford, Marvin White, Kwynton White (Partner in Crime), Ezra Randle 3rd, Adelha Randle, Timothy Randle, and Tyre Osborne of Spotsylvania Virginia. Fourteen great-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. Robert had four additional stepchildren that he treated and called his own, Diane Holmes, John Holmes, Cecil Holmes, and Clayton Holmes all of Stafford, Virginia. Four sisters, Margie Lee, Gloria Lucas (Robert), Patricia Riley, and Peggy Branch all of Emporia Virginia; three brothers, James H. Branch (Alma) of Emporia, Virginia, Jeffery Epps (Patricia), and Jarvis Epps of Rocky Mount, NC; sister-in-law, Veronica Branch of Washington, DC, and His niece Patricia Baines (Christopher) of Emporia was a special person in Robert’s life he looked at her as his own daughter, however, he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the final expenses.
A visitation for Mr. Branch will beheld from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7pm.
