Robbie was born December 3, 1960 in Charlottesville, VA. He was the son of the late Lemon C. and Olivia P. Strickland of Locust Grove, VA.
Robbie is survived by his son, Robert Cory Hickey of Annapolis, Maryland;
his daughter, Miranda Smith and husband Jay of Rocky Mount, NC; his
granddaughter, Kayla Smith of Rocky Mount, NC; and his sister, Stephanie
Strickland.
He will also be greatly missed by his nieces and great nieces.
Robbie loved spending time sitting outside in the sunshine, and listening to his music with his dogs by his side. He had may close friends and family, Dennis Cook, Stephen Turner, Burt Brooking and Dennis Tate to name a few.
Robbie will be missed by many that knew him, including his cousins. They didn't always see eye to eye, but we always loved each other.
Go Rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done. We'll take it from here. Fly High!!!
