

God sent his angels on Friday May 27th, 2022, to bring Susan home. Susan was welcomed at the gates of heaven by her parents John Edward Helbig & Olive (Chadderton) Helbig; Brother Wilford Chadderton; Sisters Diane Paugh & Mary Helbig. Susan was survived by her long-time companion John Nelson of Fredricksburg Va and her children Henry Edward Helbig Terrant and wife (Amber) of Warrenton Va, Angela Jackson, and Husband (Jeremy) of Catlett Va and Carmalita Terrant and Husband (Chris Pearson) of Orange Va and her four-legged fur baby Dudley of Fredricksburg Va. Also survived by her sister Vicky Fletcher and Husband (Bob) of Kitzmiller Md. Susan loved all her grandchildren dearly. Carter Richardson (Christy), Jason Butler (Shannon), Derek Terrant, Mariah Jackson (Marcus), Aubrey Terrant (Zane), Johnathon Pearson, Kyle Pearson, Cody Jackson, Opal Jackson (Andrew) and Gracie Jackson. To follow are her Great Grandchildren whom she adored. Laine, Seger, Waylon, Scarlett, Howard, Layla, McKenna, Madilyn, and Miller. Susan also had outpouring love for all her Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.
Throughout Susan’s years she dedicated some of her time as a bus driver for Prince William County, she was also a member of the Daughters of The American Revolution and served two terms on the Board of Directors for the University of Mary Washington Philharmonic The Friends of the Orchestra. Susan also was an avid jewelry collector and enjoyed spending her free time beading pearls.
Our Dearest Susan, you were a very bright and warm soul; your smile could light up a room. The love you shared with your family and friends was immeasurable and your presence brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing you, you will forever be loved, deeply missed and always remembered.
We request all Susan’s loved ones come together to join us in celebrating Susan’s beautiful life held by her children at a private location on June 18th ,2022.
