

Survived by beloved sister and brother in law Betsy and Jerry Christiansen of King George, Va. He is preceded in death by his beloved first wife Tracey. Mother and father, Betty Jo and Tommy Gayle. And leaves behind stepchildren, Meagan, Rebekah, and Chris. Ben is also survived by Rachel and Jason Christiansen and beloved great nephew Chase. His cousins Eddie and Ginger Cave with whom he had a special bond. And cousin Diane Chelton and family of Pennsylvania. Also survived by “sister and brother” Debbie and Gordon Webb, nephew Cody and great niece Nevaeh and wife Edith and stepchildren Alex, William, and Emily. Ben is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Ben was very active in his church and was just baptized this past August at Oakland Baptist Church.
An avid boater and fisherman, Ben was well known up and down the Mathias Point Potomac River area. Loved nothing better than gathering poolside with family and friends. Ben was a fan of the Washington Commanders and a Civil War buff. He retired from the state ABC Board and was a great chef. He loved his lab, Bullet, along with all animals and children. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Oakland Baptist Church, 5520 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA with Rev. Darrell Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until service time. Interment will follow at the Glebe Family Cemetery.

Ben lived by the Golden Rule and believed that others did as well.
