

Norman was born in Winston Salem, NC. Most of his life he lived in south Florida with his wife, Mary Jo, and their family.
Seventeen years ago, Norman and Mary Jo moved to King George, VA. Norman loved the Lord, his family, and his country. He was active in Baptist churches throughout his life serving in different ministries, such as chairman of deacons, finance and building teams.
He worked in a variety of positions in the automotive industry, ranging from delivering auto parts to owning an automotive dealership to working as a district manager for an automobile manufacturer ending this stage of his career as vice president with Porsche Imports. Norman then settled in Boca Raton, FL and operated a family business for the last 25 years of his working career.
Norman is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Mary Jo, and a great-grandson, Braedon Scott Bartley.
Norman is survived by his son, Harold Ross and wife, Debbi, of Dandridge, TN; two daughters, Barbara Kultau and husband, Cary, of Darden, TN and Beth Jo Hedges and husband, Cliff, of King George; sister and best friend, Betsy Jarvis, of Harrisonburg, VA; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Round Hill Baptist Church, King George, VA on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the building fund of Round Hill Baptist Church, 16519 Round Hill Rd, King George, VA 22485.
