Billy Ray Benskin

Billy was born on November 2, 1928 in Fulton, MO the son of William and Edith (Cuno) Benskin who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on May 28, 1954 in Fulton, MO to Juanita Lee Dean who preceded him in death on September 12, 2001. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict from 1948-1952. Bill retired from the City of Fulton as an electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar at the senior center with the Easy Rhythm Band. He was also a member of the American Legion in Jefferson City and attended Callaway Christian Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Kim Martin (Dennis) of Fulton, MO and Penny White (Leroy) of Lake Ozark, MO; five grandchildren, Branden Martin (Debbie), Ethan Martin (Kiersten) and Devan Martin (Kyle), Susan Russell and Shaunti Wilson; seven great-grandchildren, Jax Martin, Kort Martin, Maelee Martin, Nathan Russell, Dustin Russell, Brette Masek and Josey Wilson and one great-great grandson. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Wright and two half-sisters, Louise Harrison and Doris Hudson.

Graveside service with full military honors will be on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, MO with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
