One year of not having your gentle smile, your joy of life. You are missed dear friend.

Every time I drive by County Road 328,  I think of Diane and how we would get together. I’d pick her up, taking that shortcut to her house,  and then we would drive to the capital to do political work. She was a constant warrior for issues involving protecting constitutional rights, and protecting the unborn. I can remember parking at the bottom of the hill in one of the public parking lots, and hiking up those steep hills to the capital entrance, hoping that she would not have any trouble breathing. I miss her so much. She lived her life fully to help others.

She strived to magnify her faith and, although usually quiet in a crowd,  sneaked in a real funny joke or story when I least expected it.   My condolences to the family - I am saddened to read of her passing but trust she is in a loving home prepared just for her.

Diane was such a sweet and caring person.  We will miss her greatly.  Our hearts go out to Glenda  and Doug at this time of great sorrow.  We will not be able to attend the services , but our thoughts and prayers will be with you.  Love you.

So sorry to hear of Diane passing. Losing a child, no matter their age, is the hardest thing one can ever go through.  Hang on to the Lord. I know Diane loved him, so she is happy and healthy now. Prayers for you both.

Diane had such a pure heart. I always enjoyed the time we spent in the car driving to and from the Capitol. She was a woman of great faith and she carried that with her everywhere she went. Diane will be missed by so many individuals. I am so grateful that this is not all there is and Diane is experiencing Heaven ahead of us. See you in Heaven Diane!!

My heart breaks for you both.  Its been many years since I saw Diane but I remember when she and Darren were babies.  Diane was always so sweet.  Please know that you both are in my prayers and that some day you both will be with her again,  May God bring you peace and understanding in this very difficult time

You were always my little cousin and I loved going to visit you and your mom and dad when I was younger. Rest In Peace and Uncle Doug and Aunt Glenda, you have our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Diane is sitting next to grandma and grandpa now.  We will see her again someday. So sorry for your loss.

Diane was more than a friend.  She was the embodiment of love, happiness, and deep complete  faith. My heart longs for more time with her.  I have never met anyone who loved God more or incorporate d God’s word into her every day life. Ive never met anyone who loved life more.  She found joy in children, in the world of race cars, and in politics where she worked to end abortion and to protect our constitutional rights. She was so proud of her father‘s car. She eagerly looked forward to working with her mother and the children at the elementary schools. Teachers loved her, knowing they could depend on her to help run off lesson materials. 
 She loved God’s beauty, taking joy in the sunrises and sunsets, delighting us with stunning photographs of God’s creation. By starting and belonging to prayer groups Diane helped  us become more engaged in our own  prayer connection with God. 
She was so much more than “friend.” Diane was love. She was a teacher. She was courage. She was joy. And she was dedicated to this country and to the state of Missouri. She was fun!
Nothing and no one can replace what this dear woman meant to me. My comfort is in knowing we will meet again in Heaven.
