Helen Frances Vorhis

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Interment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Helen was born on February 12, 1951 in Fulton to the late Orville H. and Mary Frances McClintic Vorhis.

She was a 1969 graduate of North Callaway High School and then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri in 1973. After graduating from college she began working for Sydenstricker’s/Sydenstricker Genetics in Mexico, Missouri and continued working there for thirty five years.

Helen had lived on her family’s farm for her entire life and she enjoyed attending auctions, raising cattle,cross stitching, reading and going to the Missouri State Fair with her brothers.

She is survived by many close friends and special adopted granddaughter, Madison Jane Hudson.

Helen was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Vee Vorhis and Orville E. Vorhis and her grandparents, C. Wood and Alice McClintic and Vivian and Bernice Vorhis.
