
Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Rebecca Dunger Peak at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Larry was born May 16, 1918 in East Prairie, Missouri to James Riley and Minnie Furlong Presson, and they preceded him in death. He was married to Elizabeth Morgan on April 6, 1947 in East Prairie, and she preceded him in death in 1995.
From 1942-45, Larry served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was stationed in France and Belgium where he was assigned to a Medical Unit. He worked for many years at the Ovid Bell Press in Fulton. He then became the Building Superintendent for Court Street United Methodist Church where he was a very active member.
He is survived by son, Robert Presson of Columbia, Missouri; daughters, Margaret Presson of Richmond, Missouri and Kathryn (Don) Arnote of Reseda, California; niece, Caroline Morrison of Tucson, Arizona and nephew, Larry Attebery of Michigan.
Larry was also preceded in death by a brother, Lester Presson and a sister, Juanita Attebery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Court Street United Methodist Church, 719 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
