James Fredrick Klinghammer

James was born on September 15, 1929 in St Louis County, MO the son of George and Mabel (Satterly) Klinghammer who preceded him in death. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, US Army and Missouri National Guard. He was united in marriage on September 14, 1957 in St. Louis, MO to the love of his life, Janet Jones who preceded him in death on June 23, 2004. James retired from Brinks as an driver/courier in 1984. He enjoyed dancing, singing along with Frank Sinatra, watching John Wayne movies and the western tv show, Shane. His family was everything to him; he adored spending time with his kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivor include; two daughters, Sharon Padelford (Henry) of Holts Summit, MO and Maria Witt (Mike) of Fulton, MO; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Brittany, Megan, Michael Joe, Nichole, Michael Leo, Cheyenne and Andrea and eight great-grandchildren, Summer, Ellena, Jason, Gabryel, Ashton, Autumn, Elizabeth and Hadley. He was also preceded in death by his son, James Klinghammer Jr; granddaughter, Rebecca Ann Hoynacki and one brother, William Klinghammer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, MO. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Jason Mullins officiating.
