

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Jay was born April 2, 1959 in Fulton, Missouri, the son of the late Margaret “Maggie” and Paul “Skinny” Lorenz also of Fulton. Jay was baptized and born again on March 27, 2016 Easter Sunday.
He is survived by one sister, Vicki Lorenz Dreyer and her husband, Jim Dreyer, along with his beloved pet kitty Angel of the home in Auxvasse; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Lorenz of Fulton; six nieces, Paula Sue Lear of Columbia, Penny Lorenz-Anderson of Columbia, Wendy Trowbridge of Auxvasse, Nicki Wyrick of Columbia, Lorrie Terrell of Fulton, and Tina McKee of Fulton; eleven great-nieces and nephews and two great-great-nephews.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Dean Lorenz of Fulton.
Jay was a graduate from Fulton High School and also the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Upon graduation, Jay relocated to Florida where he worked as a visual display artist for over 23 years. Jay moved back home to Missouri eleven years ago where he last worked at Artichoke Annie’s in Millersburg.
