He was born March 13, 1962 in Callaway County, the son of Leslie M. Hoover and Helen E. (Blackburn) Hoover.
He is survived by his fiancé Heather Berrey; three sons, James Robert Hoover of Fulton, Jordon Berrey of Fulton, and Jose Almanza of Fulton; one daughter, Devin Berrey of Fulton; one brother Leslie W. Hoover of Fulton; two sisters Linda Fox and husband Ray of Fulton, and Elizabeth Hoover of Fulton; two grandchildren Chase Allen Hoover and Mia Marie Almanza; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Denise Marie Hoover; and one sister Rhonda Rogers.
Richard enjoyed fishing at Little Dixie Lake and rock hunting. Richard enjoyed being with his family and playing with his grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 3rd at 5pm at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Mike Crowson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Heather Berrey C/O Debo Funeral Home, PO Box 818 Fulton, MO, 65251.
