

Ruth Annie Maddox, 59, of Fulton, passed away on January 6, 2015 at Ellis Fishell Hospital in Columbia with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Ruth was born June 7, 1955 in Fulton to Roy and Gladys Smith Maddox and they preceded her in death. She is survived by her partner of 28 years, Deb Keilholz of Fulton.
Until 2010 Ruth was employed at the Fulton State Hospital where she enjoyed the friendships she made with her co-workers.
She will be remembered as a lady who liked to read and spend time outdoors but her greatest love was taking care of her nine dogs and four cats who she would call her “babies”.
Ruth is also survived by her brothers, Harold Maddox of Fulton and Roy (Julia) Ridgel of Berlin, Germany; step-mother, Beulah Roller of Fulton and two nephews.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Tom Maddox, Norman Ridgel and Lindell Ridgel and sister, Shirley Gladden.
