Mr. Benjie “doughnut man” Puckett, age 50, of Gadsden, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
Benjie was in the catering business for 17 years and was employed by Cothran’s Bakery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Amy Puckett.
He is survived by his companion, Jason Harrison; sister, Linda Jordan; nieces, Amy Noakers and Traci Jordan; nephew, Austin Noakers; and special friends, Mike Risher, Chris and Michelle Cothran and Chris Tucker.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Riverview Regional ER, especially nurse, Dana.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
