Bonnie Hazel Marshall

Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who brought warmth and joy to those around her. She attended Emma Sansom High School and spent her life caring deeply for her family, friends, and even the animals she loved so much.

Bonnie had a passion for life’s simple joys. She loved music, roses, and her “fur babies.” She had a giving heart and was always taking care of others. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, dancing, shopping, jewelry, and dressing up. Bonnie’s vibrant personality and kind spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Hazel Webb; her husband, Sonny (David) Taylor; her son, Terry E. Works; and her best friend, Darlene Dyer.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Joey) Powell; her grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Hawkins and Hanna (Long) Le; and her great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Hodge, Hazel Hawkins, and Aiden Le.

Pallbearers will be Joey Powell, Justin Hawkins, Dan Davis, and Danny Powell.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Attalla Health Care and nurses Madison Reaves and Alexis Brody for the care and compassion shown to Bonnie.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on March 15, 2026, at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Forrest Cemetery.
