Carl Steve Maynor

Funeral Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mr. Carl Steve Maynor, 66, Gadsden who passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in Key West, FL. Rev. Scott Harris and Rev. Robert Thornton will officiate. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Alabama 119, Montevallo, AL 35115 with full military honors at 12:30 p.m. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Mr. Maynor was born on September 7, 1945 in Ashville, NC. He retired from the U.S. Army and was the owner/operator of C & S Auto Clinic. Mr. Maynor was a member of the VFW Post 8640, Over The Hill Car Club and has a passion for antique cars. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Maynor Crowe.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sharon V. Angel Maynor, whom he married July 21, 1971, son, Scott (Dixie) Harwood, daughter, Carla (M.J.) Rickman, grandchildren, Dean, Dorene, Brooke and Clay, mother, Mary Lou Lipe Maynor, sister, Anne (Phillip) Bailey, brother, Tommy (Donna) Maynor, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be member of the U.S. Army.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Over The Hill Car Club.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
