Charles Edward Harbin, 94, Austell, Ga., formerly a longtime resident of Gadsden, passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. Mr. Harbin was preceded in death by his wife, "Dimple" Harbin. He is survived by his daughter and son-in law, Charlene and Doug Winnette, of Marietta, Ga; granddaughter, Donna Winnette of Marietta, Ga.; grandson and his wife and children, David and Gina Winnette, of Statesboro, Ga., and their children, Tristan, Autumn, Maegan and Ethan; one sister, Willowdean Wheeler, of Jasper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Harbin was a roofing contractor and a member of Twelfth Street Baptist Church.
