Charlie Kenneth "Kenny" Williams Jr.

Charlie Kenneth Williams Jr., 60, of Gadsden, Alabama, lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, October 18, 2025. A visitation will be held at Collier-Butler Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Conn Cemetery in Gallant at 2:30 PM. Bro. David Williams (Crocket) will officiate.

Kenny was loved by many and will be missed by many. He enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. He loved his siblings and had a special bond with his brother Joe.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Kenneth Williams and Hannah Williams, as well as his sisters, Anna Marie Williams and Christy Williams.

He leaves behind five sisters: Deborah Vaughn, Gloria Elaine Kline, Charlene Thacker, Sandra Johnson, and Lynne Pentecost; and two brothers: Joe Williams and John Williams. He also leaves behind three brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

Our family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center who supported Kenny throughout his cancer journey. They did all they could for him, but our Lord and Savior was ready to take Kenny home.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to funeral director and friend Cody Neely at Collier-Butler Funeral Home. He has helped our family through many difficult times, and his support is deeply appreciated
