Cindy Lynn Wood

Cindy Lynn Wood, age 58, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Cross Creek Community Church in Hokes Bluff, AL. Rev. Chris Walker will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Cindy was a graduate of Gaston High School. She had retired several years ago from Cooper's Hosiery. Cindy was a member of Cross Creek Community Church. She was a Christian that loved her Lord and serving her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Ruth Holderfield Alverson and James Holderfield ; stepfather Hubert Alverson; brothers Ricky Holderfield and Jeff (Bobbie) Holderfield; mother and father in law David and Mary Wood; and nephew Bryant Alverson.

She is survived by her husband Timothy D. wood; step children Phillip D. (Kathy) Wood and Emily (Jim) Curlin; step grandchildren Jaylon Thompson, Jordan Wood, Logan Wood, Blayne Wood, and Mac Wood; siblings Christy (Ramon) Ramirez, Andy (Ashlie) Alverson, Tammy (Jimmy) Hatley, Jessica (Jim) Farmer, and Barry (Betty) Alverson; sister in law Kathy Wolfe; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
