Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia Gladden Brown, 86, of Rainbow City, will be held at Collier-Butler Chapel, Monday, October 29, 2012. Visitation is 1:00-2:00 p.m. for family and friends. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. following visitation. Mrs. Brown went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, October 25, 2012. Bro. Harold Adcock and Bro. Don Cason will officiate. Burial will take place at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brown was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a friend to everyone she met. Survivors include sons, Dennis Brown, Gary Brown (Debby), William Brown and Steve Edmondson; daughter, Joann Edmondson Williams (Donnie); granddaughters, Sheila Ellison (Dan), Serina Brown, Juanita Brown, Carey Brown Smith (Brandon) and Terri Edmondson; grandsons, Adam Brown (Holly), Johnny Brown, and Tommy Brown; great-grandchildren, Daniel Ellison, Brandon Ellison, Erica Keel, Zachary Brown, Kyle Leftwich, Grace Brown, Vann Smith, Amanda Smith, Wesley Edmondson, Ariel Mutarsney, and Trent Hardin; sister, Edith Bratcher; and brothers, Jerry Gladden (Bobbie) and Troy Gladden. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Brown; daughter-in-law, Shirley Brown; sisters, Maudie Edmondson, Mary Jones, and Tressie Fortenberry; brothers, Roy Gladden, Dalmus Gladden, George Gladden, and Oscar Gladden; and her parents, John and Margette Gladden. Pallbearers will be Adam Brown, Brandon Smith, Kyle Leftwich, Donnie Williams, Wesley Edmondson, and Mike Boyd. Many thanks to long-time family physician and close friend, Dr. J. Todd Cross and wife Phyllis Cross, and staff Eva and Debra. We would also like to thank Dr. Courtney Lowe and Deb Lowe, Dr. Kaleem and Dr. Masood, Dr. A.
