Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2014 at Old Harmony Cemetery for Donald Richard Garrett, Sr., 70, of Rainbow City, who passed away Monday, November 17, 2014. Rev. Bruce Word will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Garret. He had retired from Roadway Express as a truck driver with 33 years of service and was a veteran of the Us Army.
He is survived by his daughters, Connie (Mack) Butler and Kristi (Wayne) Garrett; son, Donny Garrett; nine grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Akins, and Delores Alexander; brothers, Robert Garrett, and David (Barbara) Garrett; and brother-in-law, Jerry (Sherry) Panell.
There will be no visitation.
