
Mr. Harper was an avid deer hunter and loved to talk airplanes. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Harper; father, Shelby Lamar Harper; brother Charles Harper; grandparents, Luther & Vivian Alred and Eva & Shelley Joseph Harper; and best friend, Allen Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deborah Swafford Harper; daughter, Barbie Harper (Bobby Jones); son, Jimmy Harper (Amber); grandchildren, Jonathan Harper, K.C. Wells, Thomas Hester, Adrianna Harper, and Alexus Harper; great-granddaughter, Addie bug; brothers, David Harper and Ricky Harper; sister, Ann Bradley; father-in-law, James A. Swafford; brother-in-law, Eddie Swafford (Cathy); sister-in-laws, Joyce Robert and Barbie Harper; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Wendell Johns, Vernon Harper, Mark Alred, Wayne Alred, and Walter Burns.

The family will accept friends from 1:00-2:00 at the church prior to the service.
