

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 9, 2012 at Collier-Butler Chapel for our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Doris Robertson Bradford, age 80, Gadsden who passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Rev. Richard Bradford and Rev. Gerald Adams will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.
Mrs. Bradford was a native and longtime resident of Etowah County. She was a very active member of Paden Baptist Church and volunteered at Etowah Baptist Mission Center and the Salvation Army. Our Mom was an excellent example of volunteerism and ministry and leaves us a legacy in which to live up to. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah R. Wells and brother, Howard M. Robertson, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ray A. Bradford
Children, Denise B. Frachiseur, Gadsden, Teresa B. (Jeff) Phillips, Gadsden, Randy P. (Debbie) Bradford, Gadsden, Michael R. (Madge) Bradford, Murfreesboro, TN and Richard D. Bradford, Gadsden, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and brother, David (Shirley) Robertson, Glencoe, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Paul Frachiseur, Jesse Phillips, Jason Bradford, Chad Shaw, Brad Paynter and Maresa Bradford.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Etowah Baptist Mission center.
The family extends a special thanks to the nurses of the 3rd Floor and E.R. Nurses at Riverview Regional Medical Center, Dr. K.J. Shah and Gentivia Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
