Mrs. Miller had loved working in her flower beds and won the Gadsden Beautification Award in the early 90’s. She enjoyed all types of crafts and was excellent at all of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Miller, mother, Mattie Wheeler and father Issac Wheeler, brother, Hoyt Wheeler and sister, Maude Howell.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her sons, Jody (Monza) Miller and Jeff (Brenda) Miller, sister, Betty (Tommy) Pruitt, grandchildren, Catheryn (Robbie) Collins, Claire Cribbs, Charles (Lorrie) Miller, Jeremy (Hollie) Miller, Jeff (Paula) Hopper, Clark (Christy) Hopper, Cindy (Jay) Cooper, Allen (Sue) Bishop, Dennis (Toni) Bishop, 18 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, dearest and closest friend for 80 years, Joyce Fox and many nieces and nephews.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to John Croyle Big Oak Ranch, P O Box 507, Springville, AL 35146.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Gadsden Health Care Center and to Korie Bishop for watching after her at McGuffey Health Care Center.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
