Mrs. Jenkins was born January 6, 1938 in Germany and was a longstanding member of the Gadsden Community. She had worked with the State of Alabama in Social Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jenkins, Sr.
Survivors include her step son, Kenneth Jenkins, Jr. and step daughter Deborah Jenkins, both of Bluffton, SC.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
A private family graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery with Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services directing.
