Elizabeth Stafford Nunnelly

Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Friday, August 1, 2017 at Rainbow Memorial Gardens for Elisabeth S. Nunnelly, age 85, of Gadsden, who passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Pastor Tim Holland will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.

Mrs. Nunnelly attended Alabama City Bible Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Nunnelly; brothers, Mack (Creole) Stafford, Marvin (Delores) Stafford, James (Peggy ) Stafford, Calvin Stafford, George Stafford, and Edward Whatley; and sisters, Opal (Lowe) Battles, Ann Whatley, and Frances Whatley.

Mrs. Nunnelly is survived by her children, Dale (Carol) Hudson, Roy E. Balenger, and Tammy (Kerry) Whitten; grandchildren, Misty (Heath) Patrick, Christy (Mark) Hester, Alex (Jodi) Hudson, Amber (John) Stelman, Wayne (Amber) Bowman, and Brooklyn Whitten (Andrew Griffin); great-grandchildren, Peyton Patrick, Trent Hudson, Hayden Hudson, Alex Hudson, Cayson Owens, Adelynn Stelman, and Lilith Bowman; sister, Faye (Johnny) Blackwell; special sister-in-law, Jewel Stafford; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10:30am-12:30pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
