Estelle R. Wadsworth

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Collier-Butler Parlor for Mrs. Estelle Robertson Jenkins Wadsworth, 98, who passed away Monday, February 27, 2012. Rev. Bill Drummons and Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services will direct.

Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Jenkins, Sr. and Louie Wadsworth, parents, Samuel and Julia Robertson, sisters, Irene Pentecost, Jewell Crowe, Minnie Lee and brother, Floyd McCoy.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeannine (Jimmy) Caine, Bessemer, son, Carl (Wanda) Jenkins, Jr., Gadsden, granddaughters, Beth (Ronnie) Maddox and Pam (Kenny) Lauyans, grandsons, Phil (Beverly) Caine, Dan (Robbie) Caine and David (Kelli) Jenkins, brother-in-law, Bobby Jenkins and sister-in-law, Betty Sue Hammock, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The family extends a special thanks to Michelle, Melissa and other caregivers at Claudia Moore’s, Peace in the Valley Nursing Home and the members of New Hope Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
