Frances Ruth Allen

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ida Rich and Hiram H. Allen; fiancé, Steve Mitchell; sisters, Marguerite Causey, Lee Hill, Mary Owens, Jo Glass; brother, John Allen; sister- in- law, Betty Allen; brothers-in-law, Billy Glass, Alfred Causey, Woody Williams, James Owens, and Van Hill; nephews, Rodney Allen and Steve Allen, and niece, Diane Massey.

She is survived by sisters, Gail Allen, Margie Williams, and Sue Wiggins; brothers, Ed Allen and Roy Allen; sister-in-law Shirley Allen and brother-in-law Bob Wiggins; nieces, Donna Elliott, Denise Fant, Debbie Marable, Sandy Phillips, Laura Vanhooser, and Carla Miles; nephews, Alan Causey, Daryl Glass, Eddie Allen, Donald Glass, Robin Wiggins, Roger Allen and special nephew, Andy Owens; great-nieces, Autumn Vanderver, Heather Harper, Jennifer Attaway, Brittany Burnett, Brittney Chandler, Hannah Miles, Anna and Katherine Wiggins, Stephanie Allen, Racheal Jarrells, Ashley Odom, and Kristen Glass; great-nephews, Blake Dillon, Cliff Vanhooser, Collin Wiggins, Brandon Allen, Joseph Allen and Cayson Owens.

She had numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

Ms. Allen was employed by Holy Name of Jesus Hospital for many years and was later the loving nanny to Allison Heald and Brant Biddle. She was a lifelong member of Paden Baptist Church.

Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Her nephews will act as pallbearers.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 and the service will be at 2 p.m. at Collier Butler Chapel with Rev. Gerald Adams officiating.
