Gregory Keith Peters

A visitation for Keith will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collier Butler Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Collier Butler Chapel with Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Rev. Dale Butler will officiate. Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.

Keith was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. He enjoyed playing Bingo, renovating houses, and caring for animals. He delighted in helping people in need. Keith was also an ordained minister.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Holderfield and Troy Peters; his partner, Tim Sprayberry; and brothers, Mark David and Dennis Peters.

Keith is survived by his brother, Glenn (Cindy) Peters; niece, Heather Peters; half sisters, Judy (Sid) Moyer, Signa Adcock, and Alma Lee Lyles; stepchildren, Jaclyn Sprayberry and Elijah Sprayberry; devoted friend, Tracy Gattis; and many special and dear friends and extended family.

Special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff at both Riverview Regional Medical Center and UAB Hospital.
