Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Malone Baptist Church, 117 Dwight Ave, for Hazel Covington Howington Theys, 81 of Gadsden, who gained her angel wings on Sunday, March 13, 2016 surrounded by her family. Rev. Albert Morgan, Rev. David Carroll, and Rev. Gary Williams will officiate. Burial will be at Noble Hill Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Theys is survived by her children, Janet Simmons, Joan (Robert) Tilley, Linda (Randy) Patty, Lisa (Allen) Dorrough, and Kenneth Howington; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a multitude of extended family.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Dorrough, Jason Patty, Josh Hall, David Kimsey, Mike Simmons, and Cameron Knight.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to charity of your choice in her memory.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm at the church prior to the service.
