Hazel Vivian Frasier Turner

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday-November 3, 2011 at Collier-Butler Chapel for Mrs. Hazel Vivian Frasier Turner, age 83 of Gadsden who passed away Monday-October 31, 2011. Dr. David Carroll will officiate with burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services Directing.

Mrs. Turner was a dedicated wife, loving mother, grandmother and home maker. She was a member of Malone Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Wilson Maxwell and John Roy Frasier and brother, Hasel V. Frasier .

She is survived by her husband of 66 years George Guy Turner, who she married May 18, 1945.

Daughters; Linda Carter(James) Davis and Kelly Turner (Joey) Clark

Son; Steve (Annette) Turner

Grandchildren; Jody Carter (Heath) Holland, Shannon(Joey) Dalrymple, Shelly Clark, Dana (Danny) Westmoreland, Diana Davis, Jennifer (Gary) Willis and Joanna (Adam) Fielder, great grandchildren; Matthew and Andrew Holland, Andrew Dalrymple and Kayla (Cody) Young and a host of great great grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be; Stanley Carter, Steve MacMillan, Heath Holland, Bobby Watson, Matthew Holland, Stanley Wofford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Clark, Charles Cleveland, and Mac MacMillian

Special thanks are extended to the fine staff of Amedysis Hospice, life-long friend Jeannie Wallace, and special caregivers Annette Turner and Kim Malcolm

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home.
