

J.D. is survived by his devoted wife, Kim and his two cherished sons, Bryson and Jayden. He also leaves behind his two loving sisters, Tammy McDuffie and Suzy (James) Steward and his niece and nephews Morgan McLendon, Taylor McLendon and Christopher McDuffie. He also leaves behind his precious dogs Mae and Big Mama. He was proceeded in death by his brother Wally McDuffie. His family and friends will forever remember him for his kind heart and unwavering faith.
He was a 1986 graduate of Gadsden High School and the Cinderella Championship Team. He played at Auburn University and was a 2000 graduate of Liberty University where he played football for Sam Rutigliano for two years.
J.D. was a devout Christian who dedicated his life to sharing the good news of Christ with everyone he met. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he found great joy in spreading the message of love and hope.
He was loved by many, and his warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. J.D.’s legacy of faith and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
In honor of J.D.’s memory we encourage you to seek out God and find peace and strength in His presence. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these thing will be given to you as well.”- Matthew 6:33
Visitation will be at Collier-Butler Funeral Home on Saturday June 29, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
