

Visitation for Mrs. Jenkins will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collier Butler Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Bro. Lauil Thompson will officiate and Collier Butler Funeral Home will direct services.
Mrs. Jenkins was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. She had retired from the Bakery at Food World after 25 years service. She enjoyed cooking, canning, quilting, arranging flowers and traveling. She received her most joy by sharing her talents and love with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Emory and Hazel Carroll and her son, Michael D. Jenkins,.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband of 52 years, Johnny M. Jenkins; children Sonya (Jeff) Teal, John Jenkins, and Debbie Jenkins; brother Ricky (Jeni) Carroll; grandchildren Cecilia (Alex) Pike, Jeffery (Tara) Lindsey, Brittney Jenkins, and Cody Jenkins; great grandchildren Liam Pike, Jaken Lindsey, Jagger Collier, Brittlea Collier, Presley Hastings, Sailor Bryson, and Cody Jenkins, Jr.; special sister Barbara Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Lindsey, Cody Jenkins, Danny Mitchell, Buddy Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, and Alex Pike.
Honorary Pallbearers are her special grandchildren from Big Oak Ranch.
The family would like to express their special thanks to the Southside Fire Medics; the staff of the MICU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, and Dr. Jason Ayres and his staff.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials made to Etowah County Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
